Civil Aviation Resource Network News on February 26, 2023: According to Simpleflying news, on February 24 local time, a Boeing 737-800 of Indian Express Airways with the registration number VT-AYA flew flight IX385 from Kozhiko in southern India. People familiar with the situation revealed that during takeoff, the tail of the plane hit the runway, and then the crew detected a hydraulic failure and decided to abort the flight and make an emergency landing. According to the Hindustan Times, only minor damage was found when the plane was inspected in Trivandrum. Later in the day, the plane resumed service and took off for Dammam, where India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has launched an investigation into the matter.
